On the Product Review page, click on 'Get a review copy of the product' to get your copy of the item being reviewed. You must view the item on an avatar in THERE before you can test the item in 'Stylemaker' and 'Fig Leaf'.

After trying the item on an avatar, or viewing it on another avatar, you can check for minimum coverage compliance.

On the Product Review page, under 'PRODUCT SUMMARY', highlight the 'SubmissionId' number by left click and dragging the cursor over the numbers and copy by pressing ctrl/c.

Fig Leaf Tutorial 1

  • Open your Stylemaker and choose Male or Female under the 'Gender' tab.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 2

  • With your avatar selected, move on to the 'Item' tab and choose from the selections. In this tutorial we are choosing 'Top'.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 3

  • In the popout window for 'Item (Top)' select the style of the item being reviewed. In this tutorial we are choosing 'Custom Fitted Top'. You can find the basic style info from the 'Product Type' line as seen in Image 1. You can match different style types by trying the various selections under each category, such as the 'Collar', 'Arms', etc.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 4

  • When you have your 'Design' and styles selected on the 'Mesh' tab, move on to the 'Texture' tab. Here you will browse your files to select the 'Texture' to use on the 'Mesh'. The 'Texture' files can be found by using the following file path:

    C:\Makena\There\ThereClient\Resources\av\

Here you will select the 'fto or mto' for Female or Male textures. We will be using the 'Female at fto' folders to select a texture for this tutorial. Because we are using a 'Top' mesh, we will open the file path:

    C:\Makena\There\ThereClient\Resources\av\ft0\ub

    'ub' stands for Upper Body

In the 'Browse' window-'File name' bar, paste the Submission Id number that you copied by left clicking in the bar and pressing ctrl/v for paste. This will put the number in the bar and open the option of the full file name if you have your files set to auto fill. If not, browse through the folder until you find the file that matches the 'SubmissionId', followed with the addition of _1.jpg.dds or _1.png.dds as seen in Image 5 of this tutorial.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 5

  • When you have your 'SubmissionId' number matched with a texture, select the texture file by left clicking the texture and clicking 'Open' then left clicking the 'Apply' button as seen in Image 6. This will apply the selected texture to the avatar, replacing the default 'Wireframe'. Check your selection with the preview image/s found in the 'Product Summary' catalog image. Make adjustments to the selections in 'Stylemaker' as needed.
    Fig Leaf Tutorial 6

  • In the 'Item (Top)' popup window, left click the 'View' button. This will open up 'Fig Leaf'.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 7

  • The 'Fig Leaf' window will show your selected texture with the 'Fig Leaf' required coverage area/s highlighted over your texture. If your texture covers the 'Fig Leaf' area/s, your product meets the minimum coverage requirements. The 'Fig Leaf' application has sliders that zoom in and out and changes the background color tones to allow you to adjust it to best view the coverage areas over various color hues, tones and brightness ranges.

    Fig Leaf Tutorial 8

  • If the tested item does not meet minimum coverage as demonstrated in 'Fig Leaf', the item should not be approved.

Minimum coverage testing should be done on Female Tops and Bottoms and on Male bottoms.

The 'Folders' image will demonstrate the default THERE folder system where your textures can be found.
